The device automatically reinstalled with a generic HID-compliant pen, and HID-compliant touch screen provided by Microsoft.Īfter that, things have been working consistently. ![]() I ran a scan for hardware changes (Actions → Scan for…).I uninstalled the Wacom device (Right-click → uninstall device).If you look at that device’s status, it should indicate that it failed to start.Check for a Wacom device under Human Interface Devices.Open Device Manager (Right-click on Start button).Here’s what I did to get my touch and pen working again: I cannot guarantee this will work for your case, so please do so at your own risk. Otherwise, just do what I did and come back later when you can get the proper driver. If you can hold out for a bit, it should be available soon. As has pointed out, they’re working on making the proper drivers available on the website.
